Henry Frazier Compton, age 77 of Moro, passed away at his home Wednesday morning, March 30, 2022. A son of the late R.C. Compton and the late Estelle Camp Compton, Henry was born in Woodstock, Tennessee, Sunday, August 20, 1944.

Henry was voluntary fireman for the Moro Fire Department, served on the Moro Town Council, was an Auxiliary Deputy Sheriff for Lee County and an active member of the Moro Full Gospel Church .

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Louise Parson Compton; son, Brian Haywood and wife April of Piggot; daughter, Penny Flint and husband Byron of Moro; granddaughter Faith Flint of Moro; and a number of other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Herman, Thurmond and R.C. Jr.; and one sister, Patsy Hendrix.

Visitation will be 1-2PM, Saturday, April 2 at the Moro Full Gospel Church with services following at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery at Moro.
