Henrietta Fischer, 76, of Griffithville died peacefully March 12, 2022 while surrounded by her family. Henrietta was born April 22,1945 in Harrisburg, AR to James Thomas Cook and Louisa Caroline (O'Berg) Cook.  Survivors include her husband, Gerald W. Fischer of 58 years. Two daughters Keri Hoofman (husband Ron), Kim Anderson (husband Carl W.) and one son Rusty Fischer (wife Ronda) six grandchildren, Coletin Raper, Raven Ayala, Megan Anderson, Hayden Huffman, Drake Fischer and Peyton Anderson, seven great grandchildren and sister, Carol Son. She was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Ann Glass and one brother, Hubert Cook.

Henrietta was a graduate of Dumas High School.  She attended Monticello University graduating with an associate's degree.  She was bookkeeper at Hazen Schools for many years. Then to Polar Stainless, where she retired in 1999.

Henrietta was known for her love for the Lord.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Griffithville, sang in choir, taught Sunday School, V.B.S. and was church bookkeeper.  She enjoyed playing the piano and singing, sewing and crocheting.  In the summer, the family was blessed with her love for the garden and canning fresh vegetables.

A Memorial Service has been planned at Gospel Mission Church in Des Arc for Thursday, March 17. Visitation is at 1:00 pm with services to follow at 2:00 pm. Bro. Tony Criswell officiating.

Henrietta will be truly missed by her family an all that was acquainted with her.
