Graydon Paul Lumpkin was born September 27, 1947, to the late Paul Graydon and Sarah Grace (Duncan)  Lumpkin. Shortly following graduation from Des Arc High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy serving as an aircraft mechanic 1967 – 1973.  After leaving his time of duty, he was employed with Remington Arms at Lonoke, Arkansas for 25 years. Graydon was a man that centered his entire life around his children and grandchildren.  He was a very devoted father and grandfather.

Graydon left his worldly home, at the age of 74, on March 2,2022 at Unity Health in Searcy, Arkansas.  He leaves behind three children Donnie Lumpkin of Des Arc, Cynthia Lumpkin Boyer of Cabot and Miranda (Mandy) Lumpkin Cook of Des Arc. Thirteen grandchildren: Brittany Boyer, Adam Holt, Brandon Lumpkin, Leah Raper, Bradley Boyer, Chasity Watkins, Westin Cook, Justin Cook, Cody Boyer, Tiffany Wallace, Jasmine Turnage, James Turnage and Evan Cook.

Graydon was preceded in death by his wife Mary Darlene Sutton, and two sisters, Ann Gray Fetters and Joyce Renner.

The family will gather at the funeral home chapel from 12 until 2 PM to visit with family and friends. Funeral Services will follow at 2 pm.

Burial will be at Lakeside Cemetery.
