North Little Rock
Glenn Warren Rochelle, better known by his peers as Hobo, was born to Kenneth Warren Rochelle and Grace Thompson on November 2, 1942, in Carlisle, Arkansas. Glenn passed from his worldly home on Saturday, March 15 at the VA Hospital in Little Rock.
He grew up with his siblings: Lana (Lancaster) Mobbs, Kathy Squires and Kenneth Rochelle in a small community around Carlisle. After school he joined the United States Army to serve our country in the capacity of Military Police. During this reign he was awarded medals for National Defense Service, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Good Conduct Medal, Expert Marksman with a M-14 rifle and .45 caliber pistol. Glenn returned home, October 1970, to be employed with Reynolds Aluminum and Virco of Conway, retiring after many years.
Until his death, Glenn was a very devoted and generous member of the Heritage Baptist Church of Little Rock. He was always thinking of everyone else. Glenn provided assistance whenever possible if he was aware of a need.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, one brother Kenneth (Hal) Rochelle and sister Lana (Lancaster) Mobbs. Glenn leaves behind, to cherish his memories, one sister Kathy Squires, two very special nieces that were like his daughters, Dia Mobbs and Whitney Wood (James) numerous great nieces and nephews.
Psalm 23: The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
