Glen Bell

Glen Carlton “Buddy” Bell, age 93 of Des Arc, Arkansas passed away on August 23, 2026, peacefully at his home. Buddy was born May 1, 1933, to Loyce and Kate Bell. His Hobbies were Hunting, Riding around the Countryside and Being with Friends. His Lifelong Joy was being Captain on a Riverboat. Capt. Bell as everyone referred to him as being one of the “Best” and continued “Tripping” for others for many years after Retirement to help out. 

Buddy was an Army Veteran and a Member of First Baptist Church in Des Arc. He is preceded in death by his parents, Loyce and Kate Bell, a sister, Martha Jane Bell Orlicek, six sons, Bryan Bell, Ray Bell, Clay Bell, Lynn Bell, Todd Kirby and Mike Kirby. He is survived by his wife Sue Bell, a sister, Janice Bell , 2 Grandsons (Charles and Matthew) and a host of Family and Friends.
