Gary Wayne Vincent, known to family and friends as a loving husband, father, brother, and Pawpaw, peacefully passed away on the 6th of March, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 74. He was born on the 14th of December, 1950 in Forrest City, Arkansas.
In his life journey, Gary was preceded in death by his parents Sam and Josephine Vincent, his brothers Bobby Joe and Johnny, and infant son Gary D'Wayne. He is survived by a loving family including his wife Sandra of 24 years, siblings Imogene Glover, Barbara Fortune, Larry (Holly) Vincent, Judy (Larry) Weems, and daughter Deanna (Aaron) Speer, son Kevin (Donna) Vincent, daughter Tonya (Bradley) Jones, bonus sons Culson (Holly) and Talmadge Johnson, as well as his cherished grandchildren Alyson Vincent, Justin (Lauren) Vincent, Alex Houpt, Claudia Vincent, Kylee Houpt, Jimmy Johnson, Joseph Johnson, Damien and Haley Franklin.
Gary dedicated 26 years of his life to the Little Rock Water Reclamation Authority before his retirement. Outside of work, he found solace in the great outdoors, enjoying hunting and fishing expeditions on Lake Ouachita. His passion for nature and the thrill of the hunt were evident to all who knew him.
A proud Pawpaw, Gary found his greatest joy and fulfillment in the presence of his beloved grandchildren. Witnessing their growth and milestones brought immeasurable happiness to his life. His legacy of love and devotion will forever be etched in the hearts of his family and friends.
Visitation to honor Gary's memory will be held at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home of Brinkley, on March 10th, 2025, at 10AM, followed by a graveside service at Posey Cemetery at 1PM. As we come together to celebrate the life of Gary, let us remember his kindness, his unwavering love for his family, and the remarkable impact he made on those around him.
May his spirit of adventure and deep love for his family live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Vincent family during this time of loss and remembrance.
