Gary Allen DeVore born October 20,1946 to the late, Rayford DeVore and Lucy (Eddins) DeVore of Des Arc, passed from his earthly home Thursday, March 17.

Gary was a graduate of Des Arc High School followed by attending a Pine Bluff Trade School.  Studying automobile repairs and bodywork.  After his education, he returned home to the Oak Prairie community where he made farming row crops and later, trees, his lifelong career.

As his health began to change, he moved to Chambers Nursing Home in Carlisle. Preceded in death by two brothers, Van and Dennis DeVore. Gary leaves behind a sister, Idena Greenwalt of Hazen. Not having children of his own, his nieces and nephews were his children: Bert Greenwalt, Eric Greenwalt, Roger DeVore, Tim DeVore, Yvette (DeVore) Clark and Janet (DeVore) Benight.

Gary will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
