Obituary

Franklin Howard Davis at the age of 84 passed away on December 30, 2022. He was born on June 15, 1938 in Stuttgart, Arkansas to the family of Johnny Davis and Lucille Brechtel. He was blessed to share in childhood memories with three siblings. He received his education through the Clarendon public schools graduating in 1956. With the desire to continue his studies, he attended ASU in Jonesboro, Arkansas for one year.
Franklin was well known in the farming community and active as a member of Monroe County Quorum Court, Clarendon School Board, Roe volunteer Fire Department, and RocRoe Men's Club. His hobbies and interest included farming, deer camp, and playing cards.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Lucille Brechtel Davis and his brother Don Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann "Pemmie" Neal Davis, His sons Larry Davis and Donna Kay of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Dale Davis and Jennifer of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Daughters, Vickie Wiggins and Waylan of Stuttgart, Arkansas, Lucinda Waller and Donald of Lowell, Arkansas, brother, J.T.Davis and Marcia Gay of Roe, Arkansas, sister Nelma Hallum of Roe, Arkansas, sister in law, Patricia Davis of Roe, Arkansas, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation at 6-8 P.M. Monday, January 2, Services Tuesday January 3, at 11 A.M. Both services will be located at Roe Methodist Church in Roe, Arkansas
