Erin Elayne
Rascoe
September 18, 1978 — October 14, 2024
LIttle Rock
Erin Elayne Rascoe, 46, of Brinkley and Little Rock, was greeted by her beloved ancestors on her heavenly journey Monday, October the 14th.
Erin was born on September 18th, 1978 to Donna Riffey and Wayne Rascoe. She is survived by her sister Leslie Shelton (Brian Shelton), niece Olivia Shelton, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Erin was born in Little Rock and lived her fullest life in various cities such as Little Rock, Conway and Memphis. Her generosity and thoughtfulness was contagious. She was always on the lookout for an elder in need at the grocery store or anywhere for that fact. She couldn't help herself but to chat, offer a helping hand and just overall go out of her way to make someone else's day. She was also known to buy flowers just to give away to someone who looked like they could use a pick me up. She truly was the embodiment of a quote her beloved mother once sent her, "it's that heart of gold and stardust soul that make you beautiful." She was a sparkle to everyone whether through her actions or her quirky fashion that often included sparkles, pink, leopard or all three combined, she was sure to shine.
She truly had a special place in her heart for her large group of lifelong friends and continued to grow her circle with whom she met. Her girl gang described her as the best hype woman, always making them feel special and encouraged. When you see the Pittsburgh Steelers play and especially when they win, remember Erin is still cheering them on as she was a huge sports fan. Her beloved cat kids, Ruby James and Doodles are in good hands and will be told of her love for them for a long time to come. Erin loved dancing to the oldies and delighting everyone with her signature dance move. If you know it, the family hopes you continue to keep the move alive! Family and friends will hold private ceremony in lieu of a public service and ask that if you would like to show support and love, please consider donating to the Pulaski County Humane Society in Erin's honor. She absolutely had a heart for animals. Rest in love.
