Elmer Lee of Brinkley passed away on Monday May 16, 2022, at the age of 80. Elmer was born on November 17, 1941, to the late Ausey and Beulah Brown Lee. He was born at the family home located in Truman Arkansas and one of eight children.

He was self-employed and worked blue collar jobs to supplement his income. Like most young men growing up in the Southern Delta, Elmer had a love of the outdoors and enjoyed the sports of fishing and hunting.  Elmer also like  spending time with friends sharing a cold beer, playing a competitive game of pool or horseshoes and listening to Elvis.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Robert Lee and Charles Lee.

Elmer is survived by son, Adam Uptain (Lizelle) of Sheridan, brothers, Junior Lee (Brenda) and Billy Ray Lee, all of Kansas City, Missouri, James Lee (Helen) of Brinkley, Arkansas, sisters; Jewel Mallard of Helena, Arkansas and Geraldine Skaggs (Danny) of Oklahoma.  Two grandchildren, Kaiden Uptain and Ethan Uptain.

Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley. Graveside services will begin at 2:00 P.M. at Sunset Memorial Park in Helena.
