Dorthy Grace McGaugh, age 79, died Tuesday September 28, 2021 at her home in Lexa, AR. She was born July 6, 1942 in Marvell, AR the daughter of Charlie and Irene Fannon Whitted.  She was a homemaker and a member of Fourth Street Baptist Church in West Helena.

Dorthy is survived by three sons: Leon Hartsfield of Oneida, AR, Paul Hartsfield (Tammi) of Grayson, LA, & Jason McGaugh (Tonya) of Beebe, AR, three daughters: Tina Shattuck of Lexa, AR, Patricia Hopper (Terry) of Lexa, AR, & Jill Loeschner (Jeff) of Cabot, AR, two brothers: Jack Whitted (Linda) of Searcy, AR & John Whitted (Mary) of Dolthan, AL, five sisters: Charlene Neal (Freddie) of Riverdale, GA, Margie Young of Jackson, GA, Peggie Dunigan of Searcy, AR, Joyce Darby of Searcy, AR, & Thressa Phillips of West Helena, AR, twenty two grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.

Dorthy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Gary McGaugh, a daughter; Cindy Whaley, and a brother; Lloyd Whitted

Pallbearers: Jason McGaugh, Jacob McGaugh, Chase McGaugh, Seth Whaley, Stevie Whaley and Michael Stevens

Visitation will be 1-2:00 pm. Friday October 1 with funeral services at 2:00 p.m. Friday at Bob Neal & Sons-Brickell Funeral Home in Marvell.

Burial will be at Central Cemetery, Lexa
