Dorothy Dean Burtman of Morrilton, formerly of Havana was born July 25, 1941 in Forrest City, AR a daughter to Norman Dale Brimhall and Florence Elizabeth Simon Brimhall.  Dorothy passed away on July 21, 2021 in Little Rock at the age of 79.

Dorothy was a member of the Havana Assembly of God Church.  She loved crocheting, quilting, was a care giver by nature, and was a known to everyone as "granny."

She is preceded in death by her parents: husband Harold Burtman: daughter: Brenda Whitehead.

Granny is survived by her two daughters: Lena Vogel of Mary Esther, FL and Kate Scoggins and husband Tim of Morrilton; son in law: Kenneth Whitehead of Magazine,  grandchildren: Ryan Maxey & Travis Jensen of Florida; Eric & Mike Betz of Ill, Sara & Dathan Nordheim of Washington, Mitchell & Melissa Clemons of IN, Kathy Whitehead of Ill, Katie Maxey of FL, Michael Clemons of MS, Julia & Tim Eickenburg of Morrilton, Trent and Barbara Scoggins of Morrilton and Shannon & Patrick Burke of TN; and 22 great grandchildren.
