Doris Marie (Willis) Brown passed away in Dardanelle, Arkansas at the age of 85.  She was born on December 13, 1935 in Springfield, Arkansas; a daughter to Thomas and Pearl (Hall) Willis.

Doris was of the Baptist faith. She was employed by Crompton Mills for many years and was a homemaker thereafter. She had an appreciation for music listening to country and gospel. Doris loved being out with her husband gathering her favorite vegetables: banana peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes in their garden. She enjoyed visiting with her friends and was very active in the Plumerville Senior Citizens Center. The highlight of her life was her grandchildren, whom she loved greatly. Doris will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

Doris is preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Olen Brown; parents; Thomas and Pearl Willis; brother: Arlie Willis; sisters; Ruby Tomlin, Helen Gentry, Billie Alvey, Betty Morrow, and Nina Mallett.

Doris is survived by her son: Wayne Brown and wife Deborah of Locust Grove, Arkansas; daughters: Marie Estep and husband Rick of Russellville, Belinda Gordon and husband David of Mayflower, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Wayne Brown, Jr., Delilah Durham, Joshua Brown, Christy Leavell; twelve great-grandchildren;and one great-great-grandchild; along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at the Bob Neal and Sons Chapel in Morrilton, Arkansas with the Funeral Service following at 2:00 p.m.. Interment will be at Plumerville Cemetery in Plumerville, Arkansas. Pallbearers include: Rick Estep, Lance Leavell, David Alvey, Troy Lee Chandler, Addison Woker, Brandon Sikes. Eulogy will read by Reverend George Harris and Reverend Rick Morrow will be officiating the service.
