Doris Jean  (Asher) Flowers was born in St. Louis, MO on November 08, 1940 to Perry Thomas and Verna (Henderson) Asher. Doris passed away in Conway, AR on January 02, 2021 at the age of 80.

Doris was a long time resident of Springfield, AR and was a retired LPN in the home health care industry. She attended services and was a member of the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church. Doris devoted time to being a member, along with serving as former president and treasurer, of the Ladies Auxiliary. Doris was a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan; she enjoyed quilting, sewing, traveling, and spending as much time with her family as possible.

Doris is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Benny Harl Flowers; son: Jerrold Crafton II; three brothers; and two sisters.

Doris is survived by her son: Lelean F. Crafton, Jr. of Springfield; daughters: April Palmer of Ohio, Linda Wright of Pontotoc, MS; sisters: Geraldine Swinney of Bowling Green, KY, Terry Marple of Conway, AR, Roseann James of  St. Clair, MO; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be Saturday, 10:00 AM, January 09, 2021 at the Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Center Ridge.
