Donna Joyce Riffey Rascoe, 69, passed peacefully and began a new journey in spirit on April 11, 2024.  She was born to Faye Irene Muskrat and Noel Darrell Riffey on June 10, 1954 in Brinkley, Arkansas.

Donna lived a full, fabulous and entertaining life. She was always the first one on the dance floor, as she loved a wide variety of music. Donna was always willing to lend a helping hand and use her positive energy for the greater good. She enjoyed traveling, often to the beach, spending time with friends and family and was an avid sports fan. You always knew if you were with Donna there would be laughter, storytelling, and great memories shared. If that wasn't enough, she made the most delicious cheesecakes! Would you believe she did all of this and more usually while wearing heels and pearls?

Gone too soon were husband, Wayne Rascoe, son, Joseph Rascoe and her beloved Jesse Smith. Donna has left a legacy including daughters, Leslie Rascoe Shelton, (Brian Shelton), Erin Rascoe, and granddaughter Olivia Shelton. Also including her siblings,  Karen Warren, Gerald Riffey, Kathy Muskrat, Rhonda Fuller and Joe Riffey, nieces and nephews that adore their Aunt Donna and an abundant group of friends and extended family.

Donna was a proud member of the Cherokee Nation and the family is asking in lieu of flowers, that you please consider donating to the Cherokee Nation in her honor. In the Cherokee language, there is no word for goodbye only "donadagovhi" which means "until we meet again!"
