Diana Mae Tackett of Brinkley passed away on August 23, 2022 at the age of 72. She was born May 25, 1950,  to the family of Robert and Opal Suggett.  Diana received education through the Brinkley Public Schools and graduated with the Class of 1968.

On September 17, 1971, she became the wife of Durwood Tackett. The sweet and tender ceremony took place in Cotton Plant and was officiated by Bro. Clyde Hannah.  They were blessed to share in the joys of raising two children, a son Woody and daughter Regina. Added joys came with the birth of their grandchild, Tyler. As a homemaker, Diana took great pride in caring for her family and home and enjoyed the simple things in life. Some of these included flowers, gardening, working puzzles or just spending time riding the country roads.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Opal Davis Suggett, and brothers, Johnny Ray Wilson and Roy Wilson.

She is survived by her husband, Durwood Tackett; son, Woody (Kim) Tackett, all of Brinkley; daughter, Regina Tackett of Lonoke; brothers, Marvin (Donna) Wilson of Cabot, Bobby (Martha) Wilson, of Heber Springs and grandson, Tyler Tackett.
