Derrell Lavoye Castleberry, 78, of Des Arc died Monday June 28, 2021 at Unity Health-White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas.  Lavoye was born January 24, 1943 in Des Arc to Ray and Bessie (Weatherley) Castleberry.  He was in the upholstery repair business for many years.  He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Joyce Skillern.  Survivors include his wife, Alice Castleberry, one brother, Buddy Castleberry and wife Arlene, one sister, Clarinda Hoop and husband Johnny, and many nieces and nephews.  Visitation is Wednesday, June 30 at Garth Funeral Home at 9:00 am with funeral services immediately following at 10:00.  Burial is in Hickory Plains Cemetery by Garth Funeral Home.  Bro.
