Darrell Ray Parker, 62 of Des Arc, Arkansas passed from this life on November 2, 2022.  Darrell was born April 26, 1960 in Brinkley to Charlie and Margaret Parker.  He is survived by two brothers, Bobby Parker and wife, Linda of Mabelvale; Raymond Parker and wife, Carla of Northside Community of Des Arc; three sisters, Charlene Holloway of Northside Community of Des Arc; Linda Parker of Des Arc, and Connie McAfee of Beebe; 12 nieces and nephews, 25 great nieces and nephews; caregivers Mildred Cain and Barbara Holloway.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Pamela Kay Holloway and nephew Bobby Dale Parker.

Darrell never met a stranger and was always trying to provide assistance to anyone who needed his help.  He would give the proverbial "shirt off his back" is someone needed it.

Darrell was an active member of the Des Arc Lions Club and was one of the top promoters for their Sack Lunch Fund raisers which was held twice each year.

Darrell loved life.  He loved his neighbors, all of his friends and his family.  He will be missed by all of us who loved and knew him.  A special thanks to Mildred Cain, who provided loving care during Darrell's darkest days.

A memorial service is scheduled, at Northside Cemetery in Des Arc, for November 28, 2:00 p.m.
