Danny Leon Tabor Sr. of Clarendon, passed away Friday April 3th in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Danny is the third born child of Joseph William Tabor and Maudie Marie Yates. Danny grew up in Clarendon and attended Clarendon High School till February 1971 when he left school to join the Army. He served as  Marksman in New Jersey, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas and Germany in the army for 2 years, during his time in the military he gained the National Defense Service Medal. After an Honorable discharge he started painting and became a master painter entrepreneur who turned his craft into a small business. when he wasn't working he loved to paint flowers, birds, and anything bright or cheerful. he was a member of the Clarendon First Baptist Church throughout his life and was baptized in the 60's. Danny had a few nicknames his childhood friends called him Tabe, which turned into Big Tabe when he became an Uncle, and Rock & Roll.

Danny is survived by his son: Danny Leon Tabor Jr., grandsons: Dustin David Tabor and Danny Blase Tabor, Brother: Mike Tabor and wife Anita of clarendon, Sisters: Shirley Clifton of Tampa, FL., Brenda Lynch and husband Ronnie of Imperial, MO., and Wanda Tabor of Clarendon.
