Clarise "Joy" (Brazier) Copeland Jones was born in Faulkner County on May 07, 1932, a daughter to William and Nellie (Caldwell) Brazier. Joy was welcomed into Heaven's gates on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at the age of 89.

Joy was of a member of Sunnyside New Hope Church in Center Ridge, Arkansas. She enjoyed working in her flower beds, sewing, reading, word search puzzles and she never minded telling you how to do something.  She had a kind heart and was a giver of her time. Joy was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was a wonderful mother and a great "Memaw" to her grandchildren and others who knew her.

Joy is preceded in death by her husbands: Luther Copeland, Olen Jones; infant son; daughters: Donna Matthews, Carlotta Copeland; brother: Antone Brazier; sisters: Ruth Hensley, Jewell Andrews, Nadine Wilson, Louise Hatfield; grandchildren: Dusty Copeland, Bubba Washam, Candy Copeland.

Joy is survived by her sons: Randy Copeland (Carol) of Springfield, Arkansas, Andy Copeland (Leta) of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Tim Copeland (Charlotte) of Center Ridge, Arkansas; daughter: Becky Ray (Bear) of Harrison, AR; sister: Shirley Pollard (James) of Conway, Arkansas; 13 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bob Neal and Sons Chapel in Morrilton, Arkansas. Funeral Service will be Friday, January 14, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Sunnyside New Hope Church in Center Ridge, Arkansas, with Bro. Larry Wilson delivering the Eulogy and Bro. Tim Copeland officiating. Interment will be at Pleasant Hill in Center Ridge.
