Charles Paul Loeschner, age 82, died peacefully May 5, 2021 at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock, AR. He was born September 29, 1938 in Detroit, MI the son of Marshall and Lucille Suddath Loeschner. Charles led an active and full life and was devoted to his family, his church and a beloved friend to many. His greatest joy was to be surrounded by his family that loved him. Charles was a lifetime member of Marvell Church of Christ. He loved fishing and hunting with his children and grandchildren and most recently had passed that love to his great grandchildren. He was a member of Sandy Bayou Duck Club for many years and many fond memories were created there. He was a founding member of Marvell Academy and served on the school board for several years.
Charles farmed for forty years and became a banker at Helena National Bank until his retirement in 2019. His vast knowledge of farming was a tremendous asset to the bank and his customers whom he was proud to serve. He was also part owner of Yokley and Lundy Auction Company and enjoyed working the sales and helping many clients. Charles also used his auctioneering skills to benefit Ducks Unlimited and Marvell Academy and other worthwhile charitable organizations.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Betty Sue Hindsley Loeschner; four daughters: Susan Schuett (Dennis), Lori Gibbons, Jamie Burress (Wesley) and Jill Starr; ten grandchildren: Blake Schuett (Kressa), Katie Schuett, Lauren Pruitt (Luke), Rachel Milner (Drew), Caroline Gibbons, Elizabeth and Calvin Burress, and Anna, Sara and Emily Starr; seven great grandchildren: Nora, Lee and Hayes Schuett, Will, Charlie and Elsie Pruitt and Harrison Milner, four siblings: Lena Loeschner, Angelina Loeschner, Paul Loeschner and Kenneth Loeschner.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall Loeschner and Lucille Suddath Bowers, an infant son: Charles Paul Loeschner Jr. and a brother: Teddy Loeschner.

Graveside funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 8, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Park with Mark Spencer officiating. A walk through viewing will be 2:00-4:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home chapel.
