Charles Glenn Hamons passed peacefully from his earthly home in Clarendon, AR on Sunday, April 20, 2025.  Glenn was born November 17, 1946, to Pelham Ray and Margaret Louise (Bayer) Hamons in Birmingham, AL.

Glenn graduated in 1964 and immediately joined the United States Air Force specializing in Aircraft repair.  After leaving the United States Air Force he worked at Akco Nobel located in Texas until his retirement in 2004.

Glenn married Joyce Allene (Hill) Hamons on October 13, 2004.  They combined a family of seven children and made their home in Clarendon. The family attended Clarendon First Baptist Church.  For pastime, Glenn loved to fish and watch television.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson. Glenn leaves behind his children Alicia (Jason) Volk of Millsboro, DE, Christina (Alton) Stanley of League City, TX, Eve (Mike) Robinson of Friendswood, TX, Chip Hamons of Webster, TX: step-children are Charles (Yvonne) Hill of Des Arc, AR, Teresa (Jeremy) Collier of Mont Belvieu, TX, Christie (Jaymie) Dillard of Clarendon and one sister, Pam Biard. He leaves behind a large host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and many friends and family.

The family is very appreciative of all the thoughts and prayers.
