Charles O'Dell Holloway, 72, of Lexa, Arkansas, passed away on October 21, 2023. Born on February 6, 1951, in Elizabeth City, Virginia, Charles was affectionately called "Chuck" by his loved ones.
Chuck was a true tech enthusiast and had a deep passion for anything related to computers. He excelled in the field of network administration and dedicated many years of his life to his career. Chuck worked at Norac, Surgis, and United Initiators, where his expertise and dedication made a lasting impact.
Before embarking on his professional journey, Chuck completed his education at Clover Park High School in Tacoma, Washington. He furthered his knowledge and skills by attending Phillips County Community College in Helena, Arkansas.
Chuck served in the Army where he received many accolades including the National Defense Service Medal. His military associations shaped his character and instilled in him a sense of duty and discipline.
On September 9, 1972 after only six months of dating, Chuck married the love of his life, Sandy. They would go on to expand their family with three children; two boys and a girl. The happy family eventually settled in Phillips County, Arkansas, where they remained.
Chuck was surrounded by a loving family who will dearly miss him. He is survived by his wife, Sandy Holloway, and their children, Jason Holloway, Eric Holloway, and Sarah Clairday. Chuck was also a beloved grandfather to Cooper Clairday, Emma Clairday, Ethan Holloway, and Everett Holloway.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father, O'Dell C. Holloway, his mother, Emma May Breyer Holloway, his sister, Linda Holloway, and his sister, Nancy Gamotis.
A visitation with the family in memory of Chuck will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 from 3:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m. at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Funeral Home.
