Cecil Richards of Des Arc, Arkansas peacefully passed away on January 31, 2024, at the age of 94.

Cecil was born on August 29, 1929, to Harvey J. and Rosa (Ingle) Richards in Des Arc.

In 1953, Cecil met Kathleen Turnage of Des Arc.  They were married soon afterward went on to have two sons, Donnie, and Tommy.

Cecil retired after working many years in the timber woods.  After his retirement Cecil loved to fish and hunt.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Kathleen, of 67 years and son, Donnie Richards, brothers James Richards, Ray Richards, Donald Richards, and sister Lucille Tosh.

He is survived by his son: Tommy Richards and wife Charie, grandchildren: Kim Richards, Tony Richards and wife Natasha, Jeff Richards and wife Jennifer, Blake Richards and wife Hannah, Kevin Richards and wife Nikki, Kristy Dunn, seven great grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren, that he loved dearly.

Services are scheduled for Friday, February 2 at Garth Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eddie Addison, presiding.
