Carolyn Rae Smith peacefully passed away on May 12, 2025, in Judsonia, Arkansas at her home. She was 80 years of age. She was born on April 6, 1945, to her parents Rayburn Gene and Mary Ann Goff. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Johnny Smith.

Leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, Carolyn is survived by her daughters Karen Bruce of Judsonia and Kim Underwood of Searcy. She was also a devoted grandmother to her four grandchildren, Charles (Deanna) Clark Jr, Danny Ray Clark, Robert (Danica) O'Dell, and Monica (Josh) Powers, as well as to her eighteen great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

Carolyn's journey through life was marked by dedication and kindness. She received her education in Des Arc and subsequently worked as a hostess at Kelly's Grill for twenty years before her time at Hobby Lobby. Her passion for visiting flea markets and yard sales was only matched by her love for the yellow roses that bloomed in her garden, a testament to her nurturing spirit.

Carolyn and Johnny made their home in Conway, where they raised their daughters and found eternal happiness in the laughter and love their grandchildren brought into their lives.

Carolyn found solace in worship at the Family of Faith Church in Bald Knob, when she was able to attend the past few months.

In honoring Carolyn's life, a service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery in Des Arc, AR, where friends and family can pay their respects and celebrate her journey. May her legacy of love and faith inspire all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
