Carolyn Reyna
Bramlett
September 7, 1955 — June 17, 2022
Coahoma
Carolyn Reyna was born on September 7, 1955 in Helena, Arkansas. She was one of three children to the family of Pedro and Rosie Reyna, Sr. After graduating high school, Carolyn would marry the love of her life, Gerald "Wayne" Bramlett, on November 16, 1973.
They settled in Helena West Helena and were blessed to share in the joys of raising five children. They thought things couldn't possibly be better ... then along came the grandchildren. Carolyn enjoyed nothing more than to cook for them or take them on vacations, especially to her favorite place, the beach. In quieter times, Carolyn and Wayne loved to take off on long rides in their Jeep chasing the sunsets.
Carolyn worked outside the home as Director of the Helena-West Helena Housing Authority. She loved her job and her goal was always to help the tenants and do what was right. After twenty eight years of dedication, Carolyn retired from public work.
A simple person, Carolyn didn't ask for much in life. She had a love of family that exceeded all. She not only appreciated beautiful sunsets, but also enjoyed taking pictures, sitting on her screened in porch built by her sons and husband, listening to the birds and gathering with family.
Although she wasn't a member of a church, Carolyn's belief in the Lord was strong. She never doubted that He brought her through the many trials in her life. To know Carolyn was to love her. She never met a stranger, everyone loved her big smile and even bigger heart.
On June 17, 2022 at the age 66, Carolyn was escorted through the gates of her eternal home to spend eternity with her Saviour Jesus Christ. She was preceded in her journey by her parents, Pedro and Rosie Reyna, husband, Gerald Wayne Bramlett; and brother, Pedro Reyna, Jr.
She is survived by four sons, Michael Bramlett of West Helena, Jason Bramlett (Melissa) of Conway, Jeremy Bramlett (Tonya) of Helena, Jeffery Bramlett (Denise) of Olive Branch, daughter, Ashley Russell (Norman) of Turner, eleven grandchildren, Ryan Bramlett, Karmyn Bramlett, Kyle Sullivan, Chase Sullivan, Karleigh Bramlett, Jayse Bramlett, Maddie Webb, Hayden Webb, Cassidy Keirsey, Kayla Ellett, Blake Keirsey and sister, Margaret Martin of Olive Branch.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to Turner Cemetery Association care of Betty Hall, P.O. Box 227, Turner, AR 72383.
