Burnis Caskey III of Brinkley passed away on January 14, 2023. He was born on July 13, 1980 to Burnis Caskey Jr. and Mary Ellen Stringfellow. The family made their home in Brinkley at the time of his birth where Burnis  received education through the public schools.

He was self employed and worked many different jobs in Brinkley and the surrounding area. He helped everybody and enjoyed keeping himself busy. Whether it was raking leaves or pouring concrete, Burnis did what it took to make ends meet and put food on the table and was good at it.

Like most young men growing up in the southern delta, He loved the outdoors, guns, playing in the mud and getting dirty. If ever a day went by and you couldn't find him, he was probably at one of his favorite fishing holes somewhere.

He was proceeded in death by  brothers, Jeffery Stonecipher and Andrew Lloyd Caskey and grandson, Jamir Jones.

Survivors include his father, Burnis Lloyd Caskey Jr. and  mother, Mary Ellen Stringfellow, son, Cody Caskey of Wheatley, daughter, Natalie Hill of Wheatley, brothers, Wesley Fields (Ashley) of Brinkley, Josh Caskey (Jenni) of Palestine, Michael Caskey (Ashley) of Brinkley, sister, Crystal Vincent (Johnny) of Jonesboro, grandchildren, Kendal Hill, Synia Hill, Jay Jones, Summer Lane.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00.
