Bay Jarrett Morgan, 34, of Marvell passed away on Friday, May 5 th , 2023.
Born on July 10, 1988 in Helena, Bay made her formal introduction to the world as Brenda Carol. She was the youngest of the children born to Donald Lee and Jo Ann Jarrett and became known as "Baby Girl", then "Baby" and finally just "Bay".
Bay grew up in the Marvell area, attending church at Cypert Church of Christ and working as a cook at various restaurants in Phillips County, including T-Mac's, Blue Tulip and most recently, Sonic.
In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her children and her many nieces and nephews, watching videos on her phone and listening to music. She loved many different types of music from rock to country and Elton John was one of her favorite artists.
Bay leaves behind many family members to cherish her memory: husband, Claude Morgan; two sons, Zaciary Bright of Marvell and Dustin Hall of South Carolina; three daughters, Alissa Gschwend of Gentry, Kayleigh Morgan and Addison Morgan, both of Marvell; her mother, Jo Ann Jarrett of Poplar Grove; grandmother, Mae Dell O'Neal of Nebraska; two brothers, Chance Jarrett of Citra, Florida and Jarred Jarrett (Lisa) of Marvell; sister, Dawnie Jarrett of Helena; half-sister, Jennifer Coffman (Mickey) of Trenton, Tennessee; her best friend of 10 years, Jenny Christian and her son, Wyatt Layne, both of DeWitt; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald and sister, Heather Christina Lynn Jarrett.
A graveside service for Bay will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 12 at Cypert Cemetery in Marvell. Visitation will be Friday morning from 9:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Chris Moon, Trey Earls, Jerry Ferebee, Joe Tipton, Allen O'Neal and Shelby Snyder. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Ferebee, Donnie Ferebee, Brodie Tipton, John Mayville, III and Larkin Mayville.
