Brenda “Fay” Weaver, 76, of Des Arc, Arkansas, passed away on September 2, 2026, surrounded by those she loved. She was born on February 10, 1950. Fay was a member of the Des Arc Church of Christ. Fay spent her years caring for the homes of the people she loved most. She worked in housekeeping at the local nursing home and also devoted her time to cleaning and caring for the homes of others. She took great pride in her work, and her own home was always spotless. Fay was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was affectionately known as “Nana,” not only by her family but by many others she had the privilege of loving throughout her life. She was known for her loving and generous nature, always being present and involved in the lives of those she cared for. She was especially known for cooking enough to feed an army and making sure no one ever left her home hungry. She enjoyed spending time outdoors working in her flower beds, listening to country music, and caring for her beloved cats. Above all, Fay loved being Nana and took great joy in being involved in the lives of her “babies.”
Fay is survived by her husband of 26 years, Robert Harvey Weaver; her daughter, Lee Ann Osier and husband, David “Bud” Osier; her stepchildren, Skip Weaver and wife, Tonya, and stepdaughter, Rogjan Treadwell; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; her twin sister, Kay Sanner and husband, Steve; her sister, Libby Ellis; nieces Denise Long and husband, Tony, and Sharon Wilson and husband, Chad; Desa Ellis and her great-nieces, Maggie and Kayla Ann, who were her pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Fay will be remembered for her loving heart, generous spirit, devotion to her family, and the many lives she touched throughout her life. Her legacy of love and care will continue through the family and friends she leaves behind.
