Life's journey for Bobby Gerald White began on April 25, 1951 in Oak Forest, Arkansas. A son of Charlie and Opal White, he was born in the family home and shared in childhood activities along with ten siblings.  He received early education at Whitten School in Marianna and completed his studies in Beeville, Texas.

In November of 1978, Bobby met the love of his life, Shirley Criss. The courtship lasted only a short time before they rented a small house in Moro, where they exchanged vows on March 16, 1979. Bobby and Shirley were blessed to welcomed their first daughter Misty, in 1981 and in 1984, Megan arrived. Bobby had a love of family that exceeded all and was delighted with the addition of grandkids to the family.

Bobby worked outside the home for a local cable company, before securing a position with Needham Trucking in McCrory. After twenty years of dedicated service Bobby retired for health reasons and to enjoy quality time with family.  He also loved watching Razorback football or spending time in the yard.

Bobby knew the importance of a relationship with Jesus Christ. As a Christian he attended times of worship at the First United Methodist Church in Brinkley. For many years he has enjoyed the times spent with church family. On October 11, 2021 Bobby passed away at his home at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by parents; Charlie and Opal (Compton) White, sisters; Sue Bounds and Shirley White.

Visitation will be Wednesday October 13, 2021 from 6-8PM at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home in Brinkley.
