Bobbie Ann
Zirkelbach
February 18, 1939 — February 26, 2026
Cabot
Bobbie Ann DeVasier Zirkelbach was born on February 18, 1939, in Palestine, Arkansas to William and Georgia DeVasier. She received her education in the public schools of Palestine and would be blessed throughout her life, becoming a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Bobbie was a hard working single mother, working at Van Heusen and Sanyo. She later secured a position with the Hyatt Regency upon it's opening in Dallas, TX. After thirty plus years, she retired and was honored by Hyatt for being the only original employee remaining. Something she was very proud of.
Bobbie loved her Lord and family. She was raised in the Baptist Faith and attended the Goodwin Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ. After relocating to Dallas, she became a member of West Glen Baptist using her musical talents to serve her Lord for over thirty years. She also enjoyed traveling with the gospel group "Ransomed". Moving back home to Arkansas, to an assisted living community in Cabot, she continued to serve our Lord, attending a local church. Her dear friend Joe Gordon would pick her up and take her until she was no longer able to go.
On February 26, 2026 just eight days after her 87th birthday, Bobbie passed away peacefully in Cabot, Arkansas. Her life was a testament to her strength, compassion, and enduring faith.
Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Georgia DeVasier, her son, Billy Ray Hunt, and her brother, Billy Gene DeVasier.
She is survived by her sons, David Hunt (Donna) of Marion, Arkansas, Kirk Hunt (Lori) of Brinkley, Arkansas, and her daughter, Vicki Jo Goodman (Frank) of Wheatley. She was a cherished grandmother to ten grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored dearly, and her sister, Glendle DeVasier Winslow (Ivan) of Forrest City, Arkansas.
