Billy Francis McKaskle Sr. passed away on October 7th, 2021 at the age of 84. He was born in England, Arkansas to the late William and Edna McKaskle. Billy received early education at Marvell, becoming a 1955 graduate of Marvell High School. He chose to continue his studies for one year, at Phillips County Community College.

He married Nancy Gail Clemons on May 3, 1969 in Marvell. Through the years they  shared in the joys of raising five sons. Living the life of a military family they were blessed to travel and make their home in places that included Lowton, Oklahoma, and Glenhouser, Germany before returning to their roots in Arkansas.

Billy entered the US Army in 1962.  Serving as  Staff Sgt. in Field Artillery, his stations included Oklahoma, Eldorado, AR., overseas in Germany and two tours in Vietnam. Billy received his honorable discharge from the Army in 1973 and continued his service in the National Guard for a combined total of 15 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his parents William Daniel and Edna Gordon McKaskle and one sister; Joyce Strayhorn.

Survivors include his wife Nancy Gail McKaskle, sons; Jerry McKaskle of Manila, AR., Berry McKaskle (Shelly) of Paragould, AR., Billy McKaskle, Jr., (Jennifer) of Conway, AR., Jimmy McKaskle (Renita Robinson) of Pocahontas, AR., Gordon McKaskle (Chelsea) of Manila, AR., sister; Jane Black (Tom) of Little Rock, Ar., an amazing 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday October 10th at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Chapel in Marvell beginning at 6:00P.M. Services will be Monday October 11th  at 11:00A.M. at Bob Neal and Sons Brickell Chapel in Marvell. Burial will follow at Schaffhauser Cemetery in Marvell.
