Mrs. Betty Tucker, age 87, of Des Arc, passed away Friday afternoon, September 8, 2023 at her residence in Des Arc.

She was born June 29, 1936, in Rosebud, Texas, a daughter of the late Pedro and Alejandra Riojas. Betty was the beloved wife of 67 years to Travis Wayne Tucker of Des Arc.

She is survived by two children, Terry Tucker (Debbie) of Searcy, and Donna (Dee) McMillen (and late Terry McMillen) of Des Arc, grandchildren; Jeremiah McMillen, Reuben McMillen (Libby), Joseph McMillen (Kaitlin), Ryan Tucker (Monica) and Lauren Tucker Faulk (Brian), great grandchildren; Connor McMillen, Daniel McMillen, Corben McMillen, Jax McMillen, Brooks McMillen, Kelli-Jo McMillen, Josie-Kate McMillen, Evan Faulk, Rep Faulk and sisters; Rachel Nelson, Martina Castilleja, Virginia Alaniz (Richard), Rosie Ryan (Fred), Della Ingram and Lydia Pena (Freddie).

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Raymond, Joe and Lalo Riojas, three sisters; Remunda Aceves, Jovita Vela, and Mary Moreno, two grandchildren; Noah Cruz McMillen and Rome Elizabeth McMillen.

Betty's sweet smile and happy disposition will be missed by all that knew her. She was a joy to be around, always looking for the good in every situation.
