Alma Bernice Morris (85)  passed away on October 18, 2023 at her home in Brinkley. She was born on October 11, 1938 to Russell and Myrtle (Crawford) Morris.  She became simply known as Bernice and shared childhood memories along with four siblings. Bernice received early education through the local schools in Brinkley, before attending high school in Clarendon where she graduated with the class of 1956.

She was blessed in life to become a wife, mother and grandmother. As the wife of Bobby Teal who was in the Airforce, she traveled to many different areas that included San Angelo, Texas, where he was stationed.  Through the years her greatest joy came from being the mother of three children and a grandmother to her only grandchild, Buddy.  One of her favorite things to do was cook, especially when family was all together.

Bernice worked outside the home in the dental profession. During her career she chose to return to school at the Baptist School of Nursing in Little Rock. After obtaining her degree as an LPN, Bernice starting a new journey dedicated to caring for others.

Bernice was also a lady of faith and for many years she enjoyed worship service at the Internal Church of God.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Myrtle Morris, son, Russell "Rusty" Teal, and siblings, Billy Morris, Larry Morris and Marie Blundell.

She is survived by her son, Larry "Bosco" Teal of Brinkley, daughter, Angela House of Biloxi, MS., grandson, Buddy Payton, and sister Francelle Riegler of Little Rock.

Services will be 2:00P.M., Friday, October 20, at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Brinkley with burial at Upper Cemetery.
