Obituary

Beadie Ann Walker was born on September 21, 1952, in her grandparents’ family home in Cody, Arkansas. She was the firstborn child of Theodore. and Ruby White Gosha Jr. Her early education began at Moro Elementary, and she continued her schooling through the eleventh grade. During her childhood, her family moved frequently, following the crops wherever work took them. For a short time, their travels even carried them to Florida.

On June 14, 1968, Beadie married her high school sweetheart, Ronnie Walker, beginning a life together that would span many years. Throughout their marriage, they made their homes in Monroe and Brinkley and were blessed with four children, three sons and a daughter, who became the center of their family.

Beadie found great joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially those shared with family. She loved to cook, and the holidays were a favorite time of year, with Christmas holding a special place in her heart. Her kitchen was also known for the cherry pies she lovingly made for her grandchildren. She was talented with a needle and thread and, when looking for a little quiet time, enjoyed working word search puzzles or settling in with a good book.

At the age of 21, Beadie began her walk of faith when she accepted Christ as her personal Savior. Her faith remained an important part of her life, and she attended Oasis Church in Hazen, where she enjoyed sharing the value of her inheritance in Christ with her church family.

Beadie was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Gosha Jr. and Ruby White Gosha, and her beloved husband, Ronnie Walker.

Those left to cherish her memory are her four children: Teddy Walker (Rachel) of Hazen, Timmy Walker (Misty) of Brinkley, Michael Walker of Stantonville, Tennessee, and Leann Sanders (Chad) of Biscoe; her sister, Freida Troy (Tommy) of Paris, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren, with two more on the way; along with other family members and dear friends who will hold her memory close to their hearts.
