Barbara Lee Martin Miller, born in Brinkley, Arkansas, and the daughter of John E. Martin and Viola Libby Lee Paigen Martin passed away on December 14, 2025, listening to Beulah Land. A graduate of Brinkley High School, class of 1960, she married Howard Miller (Class of 1959) on November 25, 1960. Together, she and her husband, Howard, owned Howard Miller Insurance, building a family business alongside their two sons, Marty and Matt and grandson, Randy.
She was lovingly known as Mom, Nana and Babe to her family, titles she wore with pride and deep affection. Barbara was blessed with a close and loving family. She shared a special bond with her two nieces, Laurie and Becky, who knew her affectionately as Aunt Barb and she held an especially dear place in her heart for her extra special great-nephew, Nick.
Barbara a woman of deep faith, enjoyed attending worship services at the Assembly of God church during her youth where she met Howard. Most recently, she attended the Ridgewood Baptist Church in Forrest City.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years Howard Miller, two sons, Marty Miller and his wife Deana who was always there for her, "driving Ms. Daisey everywhere", and Matt Miller, grandsons: Randy Miller II and Payton Miller II; Eli Shepherd and his wife, Kaylin, granddaughters: Jennifer and her husband Gil Brazeale; Kayla and her husband Ken Riggs. She is also survived by her beloved great-grandchildren, Gauge and Maci Brazeale, and was preceded in death by her beloved great-grandson, Tripp Cooter Brazeale. She was also preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Ami Tylee; her five brothers, John E. Martin Jr., Samuel E Martin, Jerry D, Martin, Phil Martin and Rickey L. Martin; and her three sisters, Vera (Tudy) McGraw, Virginia (Ginger) Jackson and Ethel Faye Martin.
Memorials may be given to the Ridgewood Baptist Church at 4002 Highway 1 North, Forrest City , Arkansas 72335.
