Barbara Ann Rogers McFarlin, 83, of Des Arc, AR went to be with God in heaven on January 11, 2021 unexpectedly at Unity Health White County Medical Center in Searcy, AR. Barbara was born in El Paso, Texas on May 27, 1937 to George "Buddy" and Louise Rains Rogers. Her parents moved back to Des Arc with her at the age of four along with her two brothers, Don and Roy. She was united in marriage to Owen McFarlin on February 11, 1956 in Silver City, New Mexico. Owen and Barbara returned to Des Arc in August of 1957, six weeks after the birth of their daughter, Sharyl. Four years later they were blessed with a son, Ricky. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Owen, her parents, Buddy and Louise Rogers, two brothers, Don and Roy Rogers. She is survived by two children, Sharyl Holland of Forsyth, MO., and Ricky (Janice) McFarlin of Des Arc, four grandchildren, Jeremy Carter of Little Rock, MaryBeth (Jordon) Williams, of Mt. Grove, MO., Jessie (Elizabeth) McFarlin and Cary McFarlin, of Des Arc, eight great grandchildren, Preston, Tayler, Jamison Williams, of Mt. Grove, MO., Wayde, Emmett, Chandler, Nora McFarlin, of Des Arc, and Mackenzie Brundage. Two sisters-in-law, Lela Mae Rogers and Janie Rogers, and a host of nieces and nephews that she adored.

Visitation is 9:00-10:00 am Friday, January 15, 2021 at Garth Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following at 10:00. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery by Garth Funeral Home. Bro. Jackie Prince officiating. Pallbearers are, Jeremy Carter, Jessie McFarlin, Cary McFarlin, Jordon Williams, B. J. Rogers, Buddy Rogers. Honorary pallbearers are, Preston Williams, Steve Rogers, Bentley Rogers, Doyle Burnett, Billy Don Johnson. Please wear mask and follow distancing guidelines.
