Arthur Holland was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  He passed away in Newport, Arkansas on October 19, 2022, at age 85, with his loving daughter by his side.

Arthur was born in Des Arc on December 22, 1936, to Killis and Edna (Gilbert) Holland. After spending his childhood in Des Arc, Arthur met the love of his life, Margretta. They made their home in Little Rock where he was employed with Hall Tank Company, later being employed with ABF Trucking, where he retired 26 years later.  Together, they raised two children, Arthur LeRoy Holland and Marceita (Holland) Ferguson.

Arthur's family carries on his memory.  He is survived by his daughter, Marceita and Tommy Ferguson of Batesville, AR, three brothers: Lloyd, Tommy and Billy Holland of Des Arc, two grandchildren: James Arthur and Buford Thomas Ferguson, and three great grandchildren: Dakota, Alexsis and Brooklyn Ferguson.  Arthur is proceeded in death by his mother and father, one son Arthur LeRoy Holland, grandson, Jason Thomas Ferguson, three brothers: Charles, D.J. and Oscar Holland and sister Norma Seevers.
