Arthur Gene Cook, a dedicated and reliable man known for his humble nature and thoughtful spirit, passed away on July 25, 2023. Born on November 5, 1933, in Moro, Arkansas, Arthur spent most of his life in Brinkley, Arkansas. He was a respected man in the community, known for his hard work and dedication to his farming and trucking businesses. He touched many lives with his kindness, and his love for animals and raising a vegetable garden brought him much joy. In his younger years, Arthur was an avid baseball player, demonstrating his reliability and team spirit on and off the field.

Arthur was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who is survived by his sons, Lynn and Kenny Cook, step-children, Joel Smith and Sharon Hampton, and his brother, Ed Cook. He also leaves behind a remarkable legacy in his grandchildren, Keith, Clint, Kara DeGunion, Gary, Kendall, Andrew, Austin, Aaron Cook, Ashley, and Jobie, and his great-grandchildren, Kimber DeGunion, Maisyn, Kamryn, Kennedy, Kole, Kenzie, and Kodi Cook. Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Beatrice Cook, his beloved wife, Ella Cook, his brothers, Wayne Cook, his sons, Gary, Steve, and Danny Cook, and his sister, Ella Walker.

A visitation for Arthur will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at 5:00 PM at Bob Neal & Sons Funeral Homes, located at 300 West Hemlock Street, Brinkley, Arkansas, 72021. A graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 10:00 AM at White Church Cemetery, Rich, Arkansas. Arthur's life was characterized by consistent dedication, humble service, and thoughtful compassion. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
