Obituary

Anita Green-Gordon, 81, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2026, in Malvern, Arkansas. Born on February 13, 1945, in Mississippi, she lived a life marked by dedication to her family, faith, and community. 

Anita began her education at Holly Grove Elementary School and continued to Holly Grove High School. She later pursued higher education at college, equipping herself with the skills that would lead to a fulfilling career. She worked at National Diesel Sales and served as a secretary in Clarendon, Arkansas, where her professionalism and commitment were evident. 

Faith played an important role in Anita's life. She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church of Hot Springs, Arkansas, where she found spiritual guidance and fellowship. 

Anita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vance Gordon; her parents, Edward and Martha Collins; her brother Son Collins; and her sisters Louise Hillard, Doris Adams, and Nora Hardy. 

Her memory will be cherished by those she leaves behind: her son Mark Green of Bono, Arkansas; her daughter Carol Davis and son-in-law Jay Davis of Clarendon, Arkansas; her brother Jerry Collins; and her granddaughter Lauren Davis.
