Andrew Steve Madar, 96, of Des Arc died Friday.  Mr. Andy was born November 9, 1924 in Hazen to Valent and Mary (Lisko) Madar.  Survivors include one daughter, Janet (Shelly) Blackwood, three sons, Mike Madar, Gary Madar, Brian (Loni) Madar, nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.  Mr. Andy was a farmer and a WW II veteran and served during the Philippine Campaign.  He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, two sisters, and one grandson.  Visitation is 6-8 Monday at Garth Funeral Home.  Funeral services are 10:00 am Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Des Arc with burial in Lakeside Cemetery by Garth Funeral Home.  Special thanks to the Hospice nurses for their loving care.
