Amy Cooper, born on July 15, 1944, passed away at the age of 80 on March 23, 2025.
Amy attended Holly Grove High School and was blessed in life to become a wife, mother, and grandmother. With a caring nature and compassion for helping others, Amy chose to dedicate part of her working career to Private Duty Home Care. Through the years she touched the lives of many and left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
As a member of Marvell Calvary Baptist Church, Amy understood the significance of her faith. Her unwavering belief in her savior Jesus Christ, not only guided her, but served as a source of strength and comfort.
Amy was preceded in death by her parents, and only sibling Larry. She is survived by her son, Thomas Murphy Cooper Sr., and beloved grandson Thomas Murphy Cooper Jr., (Allie), and great-grandchild, Tatum Louise Cooper.
In celebration of Amy's life, a visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, from 1:00 -2:00 p.m. at Bob Neal & Sons Brickell Funeral Home in Marvell. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Cemetery in Holly Grove.
