Alton "Bubba" Corder passed away Friday September 30, 2022. He was born on January 16, 1940 in Marvell, AR to Emma Marie Hauselmann and Alton Corder. Bubba grew up in the community of Marvell and later graduated from Marvell High School. After graduation he joined the military in the Army National Guard. He served 2 years in the military before returning home and beginning a career at Bunge as a facility manager for 35 years before retiring. When Bubba wasn't working he loved to work in the yard, wrestling, crossword puzzles, and helping people. Bubba is a dedicated member of the Assembly of God Church in Clarendon, where he loved to help working with the church on different projects.
Preceded in death by father, Alton Corder Sr. of Marvell; mother, Marie Hauselmann Corder of Marvell; wife, Marjorie Grady Corder of Clarendon; sister, Donna Marie Corder McCurley of Clarendon.
Bubba is survived by his wife, Anita Ward Corder of Clarendon; children, Hollye McCrum (Adam) Bearden of Marianna; Allen McCrum (Myra) of Simpsonville, SC; Eric Corder (Cindy) of Solomon, KS; Tonya Guest Hodges of Clarendon; sister, Carol Corder Clay (Franklin) of Winnsboro, LA; grandchildren, Brittnie Lott, Brandie Self, Xenn Frietze, Mary Frietze, Michael Corder, Erica Corder, Brandon Corder, Brice Jackson, Faith Hodges, Jacob Hodges; great-grandchildren, Deja Lott, Lailah Lott, Aydin Self, Lainey Self, Asher Rogers, Kenzlee Carrell, Freya Jackson.
