Alfreda Elaine (Cossey) Day was born on July 08, 1964 in Morrilton, Arkansas, a daughter to Alfred E. and Wanda Lee (Hale) Cossey. Elaine passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 in Conway, Arkansas at the age of 57.

Elaine was a lifelong resident of the Adona area and 1983 graduate of Perryville High School. She was a Christian and member of Oppelo Church of Christ. In her free time she enjoyed crochet, crafts, reading, and fishing. One of Elaine's best attributes was her character. She had a kind heart and was always caring for others. She loved her family and relished in the time she spent with her grandchildren. She will be missed greatly by everyone who knew and loved her.

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents.

Elaine is survived by her husband James Day of Adona; son: Dustin Cossey of Vilonia; daughters: Almond Robinson and husband Kevin of Morrilton, Jennifer Day and significant other Sean of Morrilton; brothers: Wayne Cossey and wife Pam of Greenbrier, Mark Cossey of Adona; sisters: Arlene Shelton of Hot Springs, Mari Carroll and husband Allen of Morrilton; six grandchildren: Abby, James, Madison, Jasmine, Hunter, Bree Ann; and a host of nieces, nephews, and bonus kids.

Visitation for Elaine will be held Thursday, January 27, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bob Neal and Sons Funeral Home in Morrilton. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, January 28, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at Oppelo Church of Christ. Interment will be at Liberty Cemetery in Adona.
