Al Gerard Rahm, born on September 19, 1955, in St. Louis, MO, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024, in Brinkley, AR. A beloved father and grandfather, Al was known for his vibrant spirit and passionate approach to life.
Al dedicated 40 years to his profession as the owner and operator of Sunrise Custom Homes, where he left a lasting impact on the community with his craftsmanship and dedication. Among his notable achievements was the remarkable Dromborg castle in Fayetteville, a testament to his creativity and vision.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Al had a wealth of hobbies that brought him joy. He enjoyed playing golf, strumming his guitar, and playing harmonica, often sharing music with family and friends. His love for writing and traveling the world enriched his life and the lives of those around him.
Al is survived by his two daughters, Athena Du Bois (Ryan) of Portland, OR, and Shanti Farrell (Sean) of Rancho Cordova, CA; a son, Alaya Rahm of Fayetteville, AR; and the mother of his children, Marisa Rahm, whom Al was married to for 42 years. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Luca and Leavitt. He also leaves behind his brothers, Richard and Charlie, and his sisters, Janet, Margaret, Therese, Carol, and Trina, who will remember him fondly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Geraldine Rahm.
Al's legacy of love, creativity, and adventure will continue to inspire all who knew him.
